ILLUSTRATOR REVIEW - DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION ASSIGNMENT (proposal)


1. Sorry I was sick, I'm going to average in your the ESSAY Portion of your Midterms and POST YOUR MIDTERM GRADES ONLINE / ON YOUR BLOGS BY FRIDAY AT THE LATEST
2. Hi everyone, for today we are going to be using the following files for this Adobe Illustrator Review, please make a folder on you FLASH DRIVE or on youcomputer called "Review" and save the following files in the folder:

Those files are going to be used to help with the following videos:
Pathfinder Commands


Working with Type

Editing tools and commands

Manipulating tools and/or Coloring tools (depending on time)

3. I would like you to post a proposal for NEXT CLASS

DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION ASSIGNMENT
Your assignment is Using a combination of what you have learned in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop please create some sort of Visual Component to accompany your Essay Project. This could thought of as (but not limited to) a fictional or new logo design, a narrative illustration, related photographic/textual component of your projects. It may help you to look at magazine articles or blogs that include some sort of imagery accompanying the writing.

DUE FOR NEXT CLASS (MON.29TH) PLEASE HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS ANSWERED AS A PROPOSAL:

1. Describe what kind of visual component you would like to create to accompany your essay

2. What tools/techniques in Illustrator / Photoshop will you be using?

3. How to you envision your completed digital illustration?

YOU CAN GO AHEAD AN START THIS ILLUSTRATION PLEASE USE THE WEB PRESET IN ILLUSTRATOR.
SAVE WORKS IN PROGRESS AT .AI FILES (ILLUSTRATOR), .PSD FILES (PHOTOSHOP)
SAVE COMPLETED PROJECTS AS .JPGs TO UPLOAD IN BLOG
MAKE A FOLDER FOR YOUR PROJECT ON YOUR FLASH DRIVE, AND SAVE ALL RELATED FILES FOR THE PROJECT IN THAT FOLDER!
